WP10 — Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation (Lead: THALES)
Goals & Objectives
- Raise awareness of the project’s goals and results through effective communication and outreach strategies.
- Build partnerships and engage stakeholders to maximize project impact and align with EU border security needs.
- Develop sustainability and commercialization strategies to support long-term project viability.
Tasks
- Task 10.1: Dissemination and communication Kit, (UL (L), THALES; M1-36) This task involves developing a comprehensive kit that includes all necessary materials and resources for effectively communicating the project’s goals, progress, and outcomes to various audiences. The kit contains brochures, presentations, social media content, and other visual and digital assets designed to engage stakeholders, EU bodies, and the public. The aim is to ensure consistent messaging and maximize visibility across different platforms.
- Task 10.2: Communication & Dissemination strategy plans and implementation (THALES (L), All partners; M1-36) This task focuses on creating and implementing detailed strategies for communicating and disseminating information about the project to relevant stakeholders, such as EU officials, LEAs, industry experts, and the general public. It includes selecting communication channels, scheduling outreach activities, and tailoring messages for different audiences. The implementation phase ensures these strategies are effectively executed to increase awareness and promote the project’s outcomes and benefits.
- Task 10.3: Cooperation with stakeholders (EC, FRONTEX, euLISA, MS Border Guards) (BGFI 5L), UL, THALES, BGUK, BGSK, PPHS; M1-36) This task contains building and maintaining cooperative relationships with key stakeholders, including EU organizations, LEAs, industry partners, and research institutions. The aim is to foster collaboration, gain feedback, and ensure the project aligns with the needs and expectations of those involved or impacted by the system. Regular meetings, workshops, and consultation sessions are organized to facilitate ongoing dialogue and cooperation.
- Task 10.4: Network & Communication Activities (BGFI (L), All partners; M1-36) The task focuses on expanding the project’s reach by engaging in network activities such as conferences, forums, and collaborative events with relevant entities. By participating in these activities, the project aims to build connections, share knowledge, and explore opportunities for partnerships or future collaboration. Networking efforts are aimed at positioning the project within the broader EU and international landscape, gaining visibility, and strengthening influence.
- Task 10.5: Market analysis, business models, exploitation, IPR and sustainability (IDEMIA (L), THALES, THALCZ, FHG, XLAB, CAFA, AIT, IDENTY, VSENS, CLR; M1-36) This task involves conducting a market analysis to understand the potential impact and opportunities for commercializing the system. It includes exploring viable business models, identifying key market segments, and assessing competitive landscapes. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) strategies are developed to protect innovations, while sustainability plans including standardization activities ensure the long-term viability and scalability of the technology beyond the project’s duration.
