About SISAMINISTERIO
BGFI is under the Finnish Ministry of the Interior. The Ministry of the Interior drafts legislation on border management and is responsible for the performance management of the Border Guard. The Border Guard is responsible for border surveillance and maritime search and rescue. The aim is to keep Finland’s borders safe and secure. BGFI will lead 1-st pilot testing in Finland.
